RE: How do you balance Electric props?
I think it is worth the effort. I balance them the same as I do my glow props. Set them on the balacer and paint 1 lighter tip red. After you do this a few times it gets easier to determine how much paint to use. I always get a bit too much on purpose then I can scrape a bit off to get a perfect balance. I like to paint the tips for balance and for safety, they can be seen easier this way.

I always balance all my props!
Not only vibrations is a thing I dislike, but you loose some effect when the prop is out of balance.
And I nearly never find new props which are balanced...

I use some light sandpaper on a block and sand the heavy side along the outside surface. I did an e-slo fly prop last week and it worked out just fine. Of course, you have to be careful how much you take off. If it's out that far, for two bucks, replace it. APC's seem the best with balance. I check them all and most are just about perfect right out of the bag.
