Default Ulitimate Profile prop

Hey guys, this is my first post so hello to all. I have a question, I have the E-Flite Ultimate Profile with the Park 370 brushless motor. The plane is great but the motor seems to get hot during flight, while the battery (3 cell 1320 Lipo) and ESC do not. I know I need to get a wattmeter and I am working on that, but has anybody changed from the stock prop (E-Flite 12x6) with this motor? I'm already a little dissappointed with this prop has it was very unbalanced when I got it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

With a 3 cell you should consider using an 11x6 or even an 11x4.7 prop. I've used the 12x6 and while I really like the power, it may be too much for that motor. I'm assuming that you're using the geared motor and not an outrunner.....

Yep, with stock 6.6 gearbox, the 11x4.7 seems to work really well for low wieght airplanes. I have that similiar setup on my Eflite yak and its great power. i still use a 5.33 and park 400 on both my profile and full fuse ultimate. profile i use 10x4.7 and a 11 on the ultimate fx.
