Perhaps you should list the ones you are looking at, at your experience level. I assume RTF includes transmitter and receiver.
And of course, if you are new to airplanes (do not have a transmitter or receiver) you will not have any fun with a 3D RTF. So I guess my response is get a good RTF trainer and save the 3D stuff for the third plane.
I don't mean to be nasty, I just like people to be successful at this hobby.

This will be my 3rd plane. I dont care whether it has a transmitter or not. I just prefer to build as little as possible. If you saw my carpentry skills you'd understand why.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have a typhoon, and altough it is old, I still love it! I have tons of them on my flying field and we are still having fun!
Get it, unless you don't have aileron experience. Good luck!

I like my Typhoon also. It's my second plane, my first was an Aerobird Extreme. I spent some time on my G3 flying the E3D before flying my Typhoon. I have the RTF and have no problem with the radio but it's probably a good idea to get the PNP and get a quality radio if you're going to stay in the hobby. The servos that came on my Typhoon strip out easily, most replace them with the HS 81-MG. If you read the Reviews forum this problem is common but everyone likes this plane including me.

I'm leaning towards the typhoon. Since we are on the subject, If I bought a good TX can that be used with other Parkzone planes like the focke-wolfe? What Transmitters do you guys suggest?

I'm buying the JR7202. If I were just using it for park flyers I would get the Spektrum. I have the Spektrum DX3 for my Losi and love it. My LHS is a JR dealer so that leans me towards JR for service and help with the radio if needed. To answer your question, yes you can use your Tx with other Parkzone planes just put in your receiver, set it up and go.
