Default E-Flite YAK 54 3D Foamie

I have some of these on the way and would like to see if anyone else is flying them. Tips, problems? One thing I can already see I am going to have a problem with is mounting the motor I already bought. I got a 28-30-950kv Great Planes Rimfire Outrunner, the mounting bracket it comes with is a 3 blade design, more like a triangle or Y. The E-Flite motors recommended for the plane have X mounting bracket designs. Anyone mount this motor to the plane? Any pics?

Hopefully this one actually went in the 3D foamie section

Can't help you with mounting (I used a Geared 2015-4100 Himax) but I can say you'll love the airplane!

Just take some lite ply and cut your own mount and glue it on there. Or if it's like the Byp Yak, and is already pre drilled for a X mount, just drill a couple more holes and screw it in.

I just got them yesterday. Now I see the problem I am going to have. It looks like it may just be as simple as drilling some new holes in the motor mount. Also, these planes are setup to mount the motor backwards, so to speak. I have always mounted outrunners in a stick mount fashion. Little different setup here.
