I have built two EPP foam Extra 300's. I cut the ailerons, rudder, elevator hinged edge at an angle to facilitate the flexing of the control surfaces. I'm not sure what I should use to hinge the surfaces. CA hinges seem to be to short & also seem to be binding. I would appreciate any ideas. Pics are attached. Thanks Todd

Use the Dubro small hinges with the metal pins and install with epoxie. They take a little more time than the CA hinges, but work freely and do not put resistance on the surfaces to slow or work your servos hard like the CA hinges do. ENJOY

My all time favorite hinges are rectangles cut from old floppy disk material. Works like a charm, just put a drop of CA on each side, slide it into a slot, and spray kicker in from both sides. The kicker doesn't screw up the material at all, and they just rock on small foamies.
Anything bigger than a small foamy (40+ inch wingspan) deserves pin hinges as mentioned above, however.
