11x4.7 Slowflyer on a Seagull Extra 300 EP
I have the E-Flite 480 1020 KV set up on my Seagull Extra 300 EP, for the first few flights, can I use an 11x4.7 slowflyer prop? I don't have any other props at the moment and the LHS is all out. Will 11x4.7 sf be ok?
Thanks, VR-91

You did not say what ESC you are using. If I remember correctly small propr will draw more current (AMPS). I have used an 11X7E on my Ultra Stick all last year and had now problem.
Hope this helps.

I think slow flyer props have issues with the RPM you can turn. The hubs on the E props are bigger as I understand.
Here is a link to the APC remarks: http://www.apcprop.com/html/rpm_limits.html
They suggest the 11" slow flyer be limited to 5900 RPM and you will be able to turn over that probably.
