Much grass.
Didn't know your email so I posted here. You can delete 3d.. If it fly's well, which I'm pretty sure it will, I will make it larger!!!
Just wanted to show you what I'm working on.. Obviously scratch build.. Told you I was working on a bipe.. Setup will be for outdoors.. Axi 2208/34 3s pack..
Chris
Oh, 36" length, 34" wingspan..
Weight is bare plane.. No electrics yet.. Hope to come in under 12, but that depends on batt..

A glow version, forget it! You'll not get one dimension out of me...naw just kidding! If you are going glow, are you planning on using balsa or foam? If it's foam you'll have to seal everything, glow fuel melts this foam like a marshmellow on hot fire. And the smaller prop diameter isn't going to help out with 3D stuff either. A 13 x 4 seems to be the best size prop for this size Clik. I'm making a beefed up version for my buddy with LG and a paint job. If you send me your e-mail address I'll send you what I've got as long as you abide by the David K.'s (the designer) wishes. Or go to RCGroups.com and look under "Indoor Pattern/F3P" section for the Clik prototype and check out post #312. All will be revealed.

My friend has a few foamies with melt holes in them from gas/glow fuel! Insists on throwing them in the back of the truck with the pattern planes. Good luck with your build, PM'd you.

Got the Clik-X V2.0 done and ready for maiden. This one comes in @ 12oz. with LG from [email protected]. Thanks a lot Ken really nice gear. Got to hit you up for a 2nd set for the Bipe-X! Airframe is tweaked some more and surfaces milled out. Will cover with film if milling caused adverse coupling(don't think so, but never know till you fly it). The 34" size is a backyard blast. Or indoors when the wind is too strong(over 20)

Nice job on the Clik XL / Clik X and its flying !!
So when 'n where can we buy a kit or plans for these beautiful flying foamies ? They look like great planes for folks to learn to fly pattern without shelling out hundreds and hundreds of $$ !! TEAL (Team Electric Aerobatic League) might like to try a couple...
would love to see something a 3s 2100 mah pack size can pull around for a few minutes as say an advanced pattern trainer...

Still working on tweaking the airframes, but if you go to RCGroups.com-Indoor/F3P forum and look for "Clik-the first prototype" go to post #312. There's a few files there and if that isn't going to do it for you PM me and I can send you what I've got so far. I bought the kit from Northeast Sailplanes and sized the parts on my printer. My versions vary slightly from the indoor versions to help them track better in windy conditions. If you're going to scale it up for 3s 2100 sized packs I would think about a 45" or so version might be about right. Haven't made one that size(yet). Tried 3s on my Clik XL and that just didn't cut the mustard for pattern or 3D. 4s was perfect for 52" WS @ 42oz. weight. Seemed heavy but flew great in the wind and calm so it must have about the correct cubic loading. That's one reason I made the XL was to have a practice pattern/3D plane that didn't cost a fortune and I could fly it with a JDC attitude(just don't care!) I've got another XL cut out and some nice carbon profile LG for it just need the time! My Bipe-X is taking priority now and as soon as that's done a full fuse v2.0 is on the bench too. No rest for the weary! Good luck and let's see what you've done!

You'll have fun with it no doubt. David K. and company put a lot of research into this planform and it shows. I hope you don't become a Certified Clik!-aholic too!

RE: Clik XL 52" wingspan
Finally got off my butt and got motivated to remake the full fuse version again with some changes. Larger wing area, thicker root section and some structural changes to accomodate removable wings. Using a carbon arrow shaft and some fiberglass sleeves. If I don't like this wing design I'll be able to change wing more easily and to help with transport. Only a 41" WS but with lots of other planes in the vehicle it's nice to have one that takes down. Haven't seen too many foamies with seperate wing halves and wing tube. Should be interesting. More later...

Painting mostly done-time to add T-wing and SFGs'. 3154's all around. Pull/pull for rudder-elev. and carbon linkages and horns are next. Should have her airborne in the next couple of days.

Clik 3D V2.0 ready to rock! SFG's and T-wing installed. Some purple added to wingtips for better visibility in flight. Let's see how some more squares, a little longer tail moment and thicker wing root do. Will try a Scorpion 2215-18T next. Should be fun. Stay tuned for video...

RE: Clik XL 52" wingspan
Thought I would start a long term project by rough cutting the foam for a Clik XXL 68" WS. Basically twice as big as a Clik-X. Should be fun. Same type of construction as Bipe-X V2.0 with EPS foam cored/depron sheeted fuse, wing, stab. Trying to size it for 6s packs.
