Well I caved and bought a new electrifly yak 54 3d performance series plane with all the goodies.
I am thinking of making the connection between the landing gear and the fuselage stronger, but I don't know how I should do this.
Also, should I coat the balsa with lots of ca???
thanks alot everyone!

This is the plane you got correct? It is a foamie, so I am a little confused as to what you are going to coat in CA? I have 4 of these planes, the only balsa is the landing gear mount, motor mount and nose structural support. I added a little foam safe CA to all the connections between the foam and the light ply to add a little more strength. Foam safe epoxy would actually be the way to go for attaching the wing and stabilizers. My recommendation would be to cover the plane in 2" clear packing tape. Especially if you will be transporting to and from the park or wherever you fly. The plane is very brittle and suspect to damage. The packing tape added a lot of strength as well.
Tha landing gear really does not need any extra support, the thing lands like a feather. Just cut the throttle and glide in.

Don't worry, the landing gear mount is fine. I would definitely stay away from coating the mount in CA. The key to having a good flying foamy is to BUILD IT LIGHT! It will fly much better, and adding a load of CA will just be a waste.
