I have been flying rc for about 5 years now and now want to get into electrics. i have stuffed around a bit with them with cheap stuff off ebay and cut a plane out of depron. i was surprised at how well it flew. anyways i am wondering what electric plane i could get for realitivly cheap. i want a depron plane (or similar) that is fairly strong and will do crazy 3d. (hovering, trq rolls, rolling harriers etc) i want somthing realitivly cheap as anyone would. also i would prefer to buy one not build one. Also be able to fly outside maybe in a bit of wind.
AS i am new to electrics i would need motor esc etc
i sometimes fly the flatout flatana on Realflight G3 and like that plane. so pref something similar to that.
Any advice or ideas for a good plane would be great. thanks
Shane

I always feel that planes like the Flatout Shockies etc are very good planes but fragile. Try something like maybe the ST Models YAK, its foam and a profile, cheap but flies very well with the stock brushed motor.
Try:
www.parkermodel.com
www.zebrahobby.ca
Not sure if they still carry it.

Thanks for that but i looked a bit closer and its says they are out of stock.... which sucks uause they look like they fly nice. Also i was looking at the model flight site and they have them for $59 AU which is alot cheaper then everywhere else i have seen them http://www.modelflight.com.au/rc_mod...d-3_yak_54.htm.. but once again they are out of stock... i will keep looking and see what i can find

Shane - the website for ST Models has disappeared, you should see the owner's son fly it, he was at some resort, walked with the plane and then up the side stairs to a chalet, hung in front of the door, rotated 90 degrees and went sideways into the door. Its one of the best cheapest foamie I have tried and you only need the brushed set up.
