Things are going great with the Flash. I suggest to everyone if you are thinking about getting one to do it. The SZ is great but the Flash is awsome! Nice video at the lake by the way.

Cliorc, I fly today with a buddy at a local park. I took out the Flash and the SZ. I almost don't like the SZ anymore now! lol Really, the Flash is sooo much better IMO. I moved the CG foward becouse the way it was in inverted flight it would climb big time. Could'nt do any rolling moves becouse of it. Since I moved it foward it still climbs but barely at all so it's ok. Made a world of difference in Knife Edge flight just like you said it would. I was flying Knife Edge so low to the ground that I almost touched a wing. It was a total blast today. What a great foamie!!

My SZ isnt getting much of a work out these days either.I'm in Canada for the weekend and the plane i have with me is the Flash. This morning while driving up i stoped early and got a few flights in on it in a field behind a fast food joint. And the night before the wind only died down after dark so off to a large lite parking lot at a local store that was empty to get some more flights in on it.Olin

No bears yet!The weather has been great early in morning and just before dark(no wind)so far have got 17 flights in since i left Friday morning. Before I left home for 3 days prior it was just too windy to take small foam planes out.So as long as a bear or big foot doesnt come out of the trees all is going well with the FlashOlin

I am not familiar with CF rods, but what size should I get to further strengthen the main wing

What I did on mine was to use the CF that comes with the kit and then added CF ahead of the main one and behind it.When i build my next I will be using the same as I did on my SZ's .9mmx3.1mm with that on my SZ it ended up being very strong. It's a bit over kill as many have just used 1mmx2mm but I like it to feel.Unless you are reallly hammering this plane I think the stock CF glued well with CA would be enough. After hearing a few reports of people having their wings fold up it's why I reinforced mine. That and the fact I like mine as stiff as it can be ,for me they fly, respond better.Just my personal preference.Olin

Been hovering mine in my basement and my friends garage now. I even hovered it up against a wall at work and was climbing the wall and coming back down and then up again. Pretty cool!

Sb13,I know it's great. It's got to be the easiest to hover hands down of any plane i own. Flyin C,I have no experience with that brand of motor, maybe someone else will be able to chime in on it.

It's very easy compared to others I've had. I felt that way about the SZ but this is even better. Helps me with my big gasser too.

Yeah , got it. Bad quality pics. They were taken with one of my employees camera phones. I want to buy a video camera. I would like to record myself flying and playing my drums. You know of a decent recorder Olin?

Very cool pics!

I am going to put two smaller peices of CF in the center of the wing in back and front of the main CF rod. I have never used CF before so are their different sizes or something? What size should I get?
