I have not adjusted the right thrust for the fact that all other aspects the thrust angle appears to be good. So figure if I really wanted to eliminate it then I could use a mix or simply fly it. Its pretty easy to fly it so I have just continued to do it this way.
Was just curious if I have overlooked something simple that someone else had done to fix it LoL.

Last nite I reshaped a MA 13x6 Scimatar by thinning the blabes and sharpened the leading edges a bit. This am: at the E field here I flew it with the new prop. Very good improvment over the 12x7 Xoar I've been using. Hovers were almost hands off compared to the 12". With the 12" torque rolling was almost unstopable and the plane wants to constantly wander. My "plan" was to try reshaping some leftover glow props and the first time results were pleasing. Now I know those 100 or so props have a future! Battery temps were very low too, about 102* or so. My temp gauge is to put the battery against my cheek after a flight.

It's been done. You need a longer cf rod to do the z-bends thing and you should use a longer rudder control horn if yo do it.
Make sure you don't do it if you are already having trouble achieving forward cg with the pull pull in place; I use a lot of light packs so I can't get away with it unless I want it tail heavy all the time.
Who am I kidding I like it tail heavy..

I put two rudder servos in the tail of mine to get the plane to KE slower. Landing is an adventure but it flies a lot beter. I put the Hacker a30-12L in mine so I had some extra weight to balance with. Still it's all up weight was 35.5 oz. for a very light wing loading.
Ihave since removed the 12L and installed a a30-22s. I removed the second tail servo fearing it would be too tail heavy. Nope, coulda left it there. The 22s is about 2 oz lighter. Flight characteristics were near identical with either motor. Only difference is with the smaller motor working harder the batteries got hotter.

I have a PA Extra 260 '08 model
It flies nicely.
But upon slowing it down for harriers, hovers, ect...
My plane is totally-out-of-control on slow maneuvers.
It stalls prematurely, and drops a wing, thus out-of-control!
Setup is like the book says.
Wings straight and true.
Horizontal stab level with wings, straight and true.
No twist in airframe.
Take-offs and landings are a beautifully!
Thrust 30 w/ Quantum 40
13x6.5 prop
Common Sense 3-Cell 2100 mah
I downloaded the PA 260 MX for Real Flight Simulator, and scaled that plane down to the wing length of mine.
Changed bat, motor and speed-control to mine.
Flies just like mine... out-of control.
Just starting to move things around in the sim model, so maybe I can get my real model to fly decent.
Oh, by the way, my c-a-n-o-p-y has warped from the sun!
I guess I won't be buying another plane with a plastic c-a-n-o-p-y!

The author explains a step-by-step method to check everything in your setup.
I'm going to try it and see.

I'm using the 13x6.5 prop with the 30 on my Katana MD and it is awesome. The motor shows no indication of heat after each flight.

I just got mine, in yellow. I know what you guys are running, but I am planning a little different set up. I want to use an E-flight Power 25 on their 60 amp ESC. I know the ESC is a bit over kill, but I might go 4s. Is this too much?
Servos to be HS-65 (karbon, or mg??) all around.
One concern I do have is the amount of CF in the plane and its effect on RFI. Will a Spectrum 6200w/ remote work or would the 6250 be the choice? I would have to order the latter.

I don't know about Spectrum/JR but with my futaba 7c the manual says to just keep the antenna lead at least 1" away from any conductive material. One of my leads is about 1" from the wing tube on my 27% extra 260, thats a big chuck of carbon... I have no problems. The next time yer at the field I'll open the canopy for u to see if u want.

I thought that I might have had a CG issue considering the weight of the P25 w the 60 A esc, but I got mine at around the 93-95mm mark. I haven't weighed it yet so can't tell really how much it increased by. Stock factory set up is 34oz, I may be only a couple over that. I can't wait to maiden it today!

It seems as though I have a major issue with my h stab. It is definitely mis-aligned! First loop is ok then it banks wildly to the right in the next one. Heat wont fix this I'm afraid. My screw up. Anyone repair the rear end on one of these? I'm thinking a hack job and rebuild is in order. Grrrr...this should be fun.

OK what I thought was a misaligned h stab was actually flex! (noobs, eh) Our clubs top pilot took it for a romp, and holy moly have I got a ton of skill to acquire, [&:]LOL. This thing does what it is supposed to do. Now to figure out how to put another servo to split the elevator to stiffen that up.
