Default power system foamie

Im looking to get a small foamie to try to learn how to fly 3d on but this is my first electric..........
I decided on eflite's futana http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdID=EFL1150
Or extra http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdID=EFL2300
My question is, will any of the power systems on this page give good performance with those planes?

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...&ParentCat=192

Thanks for your help.

Default RE: power system foamie

Those planes need to be kept as light as possible to fly well, so no. None of the Hobby City stuff will work very well in either of those planes. They will end up overweight, and will suffer greatly. Also, those planes are more for a 2nd or 3rd 3D plane, not a first electric.

I'd suggest to you a DW Foamies Yak 54. We also have lipo batteries and a motor/ESC/servo combo that all will work very well in the plane. It is the perfect 3D trainer, and is very capable of doing everything 3D. From hovers, to waterfalls, and everyhting inbetween, there isn't anything that the DW Foamies Yak 54 can't do. At the recent MWE event down here in San Diego, Ryan Archer and Mark Leeseberg got to test out some of our planes, and they said they were excellent flying planes. Words like that comming from pro pilots lest you nkow these planes are very good.

We don't have the motor/eSC/servo combo or lipo batteries on your site yet, but feel free to drop Mike Morgan an e-mail asking about the stuff.
