Rimfire 28-22-1380 - 3DBatix Diablo
I have built a 3D Batix Diablo and now I'm looking for a motor for it... what do you think about Rimfire 28-22-1380 for 3D flying? I'm thinking to buy a 12A ESC, 910mAh LiPo and 8x4 prop...

I've used my Rimfire in no less than 3 different planes and I love it. I've used it in planes that call for a larger motor and was still able to fly 3D, so at $23 I'd call it a steal.

Hi piraju.
If you're going to leisure fly it, maybe but if is 3d or more aerobatic style it will not be a good choice. For that you will need the RimFire 35-30-1250 or the 35-30-1450. The 3DBatix site use the Axi but they like more the HIMAX 2812-0850. For this motor the 12A ESC will not work you will need at least a 20-25A ESC and a 12x6 or 12x3.8 prop. The 910mAh LiPo will work if is a 3 cell.
I have a Diablo for about a year now with an E-flite Park 480, ESC CC Phoneix 35 ( this is because I already owne it ) and a TP 1320mah 11.1v and fly great.
