In my opinion, foamies are foamies. they all fly more of less alike, get the cheapest one you can find.....The hobby lobby ones look pretty good.

Fflier is right foamies are foamies but if you want a foamie that will last longer get one made of depron or EPP. Going from your two choices I'll go with the E-flite Extra 260 made of depron. I have one and it last more than my flatout RC Univers Bipe.

Hellblaster, I see what you are saying, the e-flite looks alot stronger than all the others i have looked at. I will probably get that one but i was wondering if this plane is any good because it looks indestrctable:[link]http://electrifly.com/parkflyers/gpma1274.html[/link]
Thanks for the help,

I have the DW Foamies Yak Jr. and like it a lot. Very responsive and light, though I would guess not quite as durable as the electrifly yak. It can be flown with relatively inexpensive gear.

If you want another very durable option, how about the Mountain Models Panic 3D. Check out the crash video.

DANG!!! That mt. models panic is one tough little bird! I think i will still get the e-flite just because it is tough and the LHS carries it and all the parts.
Thanks for all the suggestions,

Ok... i was on the e-flite website and i saw the Tribute FX 3D ARF. I know it is not an actual "foamie" but it is made of foam and it looks pretty durable. Is this plane any good because for few more bucks it looks like a better quality plane. Has anybody flew this plane, comments...
Thanks,
Jacob

The electrifly yak may be flexible but is not that good as a 3D plane you need a plane that hold it's ground when you do hard manuvers. The Panic 3D is better choice, now the Tribute FX 3D it's a more better choice than a profile foamy and better than the extra 260 plus it is a foamy since moust of it is made of foam just a few key places are made of lite ply. Only draw is if you crash it it will take you a little longer to fix than a profile.

I like the SU-31 alittle better than the E-Flite Tribute, but the parts are probably much harder to get (for the su-31) and the SU-31 is out of stock anyways[

Sorry to hear that, you may be able to get the parts online or you LHS may be able to get them. Good luck.
