Default Speed Control question

Hi all, I have a question about my speed control. I have an electrifly ss-25, My question is can i use it with a smaller motor than recommended? I know you cant use a bigger motor than recommended, but will it work with a motor that is smaller? Thannks

Yes, I think no problem, except it will weigh more than a smaller ESC.

cool thanks, i just wasnt sure if the amp difference would help or hurt.

You'll be fine. It's the motor prop combination that governs the amps draw.
