Default AJ Slick 70

Anyboy know anything about this plane?
Looks like a new release, but no info on 3DHS's website yet except the price... $439.99
2 color themes... Red AJ color scheme anda BLUE/SILVER fantasy racing scheme.
If it's anything like their other planes, it should be awsome.</p>

I have the 70" AJ Slick set up with electric power and it's an awesome flying airplane. Itflies precision really well and is also a 3Dmachine. Very stable in upright and invertedharriers, easy to hover/torque roll, and will do any maneuver you can think of.

I also have 3 other 3D Hobby Shop airplanes with several more on my wish list. Just like one of the other posters said, you can't go wrong with any of the planes that 3D Hobby Shop puts out.

Hey guys... This thread seems dormant so some new news is the fact that 3DHS has taken the original 70" Slick and updated it to what is now spec'd as a 71" Slick

The yellow, Red,and Fantasy Blue schemes have been updated to the two new schemes

Red

And Orange

Hey if you have purchased that many planes from them, you may want to check out the "my rewards" under your account on the web page... if you have registered on the site, you earn points, and just as you have stated..... 3DHS will let you redeem them and give you a shirt (or use towards gift certificates) provided you have enough points :-)

a shirt can be had for 275 points, or 280 for me as I am less dainty :-)

I get it now....

a unique situation among manufacturers is you can actually talk to the owner which is a plus.... Many try to reach him on Mondays or early in the week and his phones are jammed... they open up for some face time later in the week

you will find Ben more on RCG and FG so contact through the threads is more likely there.. he has an excellent memory and if you can get to an event he spends a ton of time with anyone willing to chat about planes.... look for the huckfest series, SEFF, Joe Nall, Toledo show and he is there .... always makes time to talk with people... Those are also places he has planes for sale.

the guys I know with the Blue shirts as his team pilots are really good eggs... they are super approachable as well, and always help pilots get their planes set up and trimmed....if you can't find an event where Ben is find one with one of the Team guys.. if you are a really good pilot and have a people personality all the other stuff may fall in line for you.
