Hello, I have a 3styla that I pulled out the loft and started to build. Its meant for a Irvine 53 or similar and comes out at about 4.2lbs. However I Have hoping to get it down to around 3.3lbs and running on a Hacker A30 14L or AXI 2826/12 or 14 on 3 cells.
What I am after are some lightweight servos, I was thinking of the Hitech HS65mg for the ailerons but I am a bit stuck on the rudder and elevator. I was thinking of 2 of the 65's on each elevator but would like to keep it to one really. Any ideas. Looking for about 4kg of torque?

Your 65MG's weigh in at 12.5g which is pretty light for its torque. But if you need something with twice that torque, a Hitec 225MG will do the job at a bargain price, but weighs 31g. If you can accept 3.5kg cm, a Hitec 85MG weighs 22g.
Hope this helps...Chris
