E-flite Minifuntana X
The E-flite Mini Funtana X are back in stock at Horizon Hobby and other sites after a several-month wait.
Just ordered mine yesterday.
It's my second one and I promise to be much more careful with this one!

I have had one for over two years. Crashed it and fixed it a few times at first and is still a great flyer. You need to beef up the landing gear and the undercarrige when using a grass field. Hope they didn't cheapen the included hardware. A friend has the extra "sister" plane and it came with the clip type control horns which are sloppy if you don't add ca.

Yes, I remember the fragile landing gear set up. I'll reinforce that before I put the kit together.
Actually, I do that to all of my airplanes since I fly on a grass field and often when it's windy.

RE: E-flite Minifuntana X
Had my Mini Funtana X for 3 seasons. Loved it. If you like to fly knife edge, add the SFGs. It flies great aerobatics "on the wing". I reengined mine with a Hacker A30-16M and a Castle Creations 45amp esc. Insane vertical! I finally sold my trusty MFX to a club buddy. I moved over to a 3D Hobby Shop Extra 300 SHP. It rocks, and probably is a little more confidence inspiring than my MFX was in the post-stall 3D regime.
Enjoy your MFX!

RE: E-flite Minifuntana X
Hey guys. I've had mine for a while but finally got it in the air today. I have it set up according to the prefered settings with the park 480 motor. Im running a 3s 2200mah battery and it is a bit nose heavy. Did you guys add any tail weight to your mini funtanas? If so how much and where did you put it? What do your interior trays look like?

Yes, mine was a little nose heavy also. I mount the battery as far back as I can and still had to ad 1/4 oz weight.
I like wire landing gears, so I replaced the regular one with one made out of wire. I think that helped also.
