Default Copperhead Extra Stiffy

Hi, I am needing to replace my Extra Stiffy and I see Copperhead does not make them any more. I need a TANK and the ES was just that,

I just don't seem to be able to get the hang of 3D, that's why I need a Tank. Any suggestions on a replacement that is as strong and durable as the ES was?

The ES was too heavy for my taste and I kept breakiing the motor mount out of the plane, but it did have a nice wing surface.

I suspect because it was SOOO heavy, it hindered your ability to recover from common 3D learning errors (ie, it snaps out of tight pullouts because of the heavy wing loading where a lighter and more responsive plane with the same power would just fly away).

I've always thought this was the best flyer of this size and type: "The Flash"

http://www.soaringusa.com/products/p...ategory_id=264

The design is a few years old. Not sure if it's still being made, but they do last a long time (again, weight is an enemy of longevity).

(Think feathers, NOT tanks!)

I catch your drift about the tank, I gave soaringusa a call and they no longer carrie the flash

but I bet I can google it and find one some where. Thanks again

I don't know if you want a flat foamy or not, but the Abellrc Adrenaline v2 is a great flying plane and pretty tough too.

Hi rc nut I found a video of the Adrenaline v2 and it looks good as well as being well constructed

I took wind junkie's suggestion and bought "The Flash" but it will awhile befor I get it built,Honey Dues you know.

I will keep this one in mind for after the flash bites the dust. Yeah I "pull up pull up"but I am upside down

half the time. Thanks for the recommendation.

I didn't mean "pull up pull up" for you, Its just my signature so it is on all my posts.
Could you post a link to that video please?
