Field layouts
Hello to all,
We have a pretty heated discussion at our field about where to place pilot stations. We normally stand close to grass runway 5-8 feet, with rarely more than 3 guys flying at any one time. We have grass barriers that grows as the summer progressives. The field is approximately 800' by 100'
Some in the club want the pilot stations 25' from the edge of the runway (AMA Rules or suggestions?)
We have jets, 3D, foamies, helicopters, just about everything that flies.
I'm wondering what other clubs are doing.
