i think 3dfoamy is the best but it takes a while to figure out how to download the plans.

Look a bit more 3D? Why would you want that? Then they don't perform 3D well anymore? Polystyrene will not work well. Much too fragile for anything. And when you get it more sturdy you add too much weight.

well i'v seen this particular model by Wattage called the Live Wire and it flies awsome.
its a bit expensive so i was wondering if i could build one since the construction doesnt look too difficult.
so thats why i wanted to know if there is a site like those made for foam planes but instead on different matterials for an electric.

this is the site for Live Wire:

Looks a bit like a balsa model from what I can see in the pic. It is a little difficult. You could of course try several other foam products. Some guys are having success with blue foam and such. Do some research here and on the sites. You should find something that will work. Like us guys here in SA are forced a bit to use an extruded foam. It is used to make iso boards. This stuff in particular is quite light but very fragile as well. Does work for a foamy I suppose but it will not take the beating depron will.

If you think the plane is too expensive forget about it. There is nothing cheap about setting up a foamy for 3D. Brushless w/ ESC, lipos and mini receiver and servos will cost about $300 so the 20$-80$ you could spend on a plane is the least of your worries. Some will say you can do it cheap with a brushed motor and nicads but you won't have a 3D machine like you read about in the forums. My Foamy Factory blows people away at the field and I only have $20 into it before the electronics. When I tell them what it'll take to set up they lose interest real fast.
