ok guy's and girls, What is the best way to keep props on this motor? I have thrown a prop every flight.
it's gitting stupid. i'm new at foamys, so the prop saver is a good thing for me but i;m a little tired of looking for props after they fly off.cant watch both prop and plane when it lets go,but looking for them in the grass blows.

nah...I just use the nut and washer....if your gonna hit the prop hard enough to mess it up all 2$ worth...I'd be more worried about the plane...with no power behind the prop on landing...even a plane w/o landing gear if you float it in the prop doens't get damaged

or just catch it !![:@]

been using two o-rings,but they give up the ghost too.
when it gives up in tall grass, you gotta keep your eyes on the falling plane, and not on the falling prop.

hmmm.. ok ... take your two black screws the bands hook on to out.. then install them again..just a few turns in till you are sure they wont come out.... the band will be hard to put back on but that will fix the problem.. ( my brother had the same problem on one of his rimfire.. i didnt that to his and it worked) mine was already set like that so i just doubled up b/c i throw a prop doing a high g's

I use 3 o-rings. I've never had a problem except when a GWS prop broke in flight on me.

Me too, I use 3 O-rings as well. Along with SMALL peices of clear packing taped wrapped around the threads of the screws ;) Seemed as if the O-rings were wedging in on the bolt threads and getting cut... No problems now [:-] :D
