Default Laser 3D

I bought and built a Global Models Laser 3D. I had never heard of the company or the airplane, but it looked good so I jumped on it. The question is whether anyone has any experience with the model. It was an absolute delight to build and built into a good looking plane, but I have no experience with 3D.

I am in the process of recovering mine. It was my first 3-d plane and only one right now. Its a great plane for banging around in the air with. Hovers practically by its self. What engine do you have in it. I have a MVVS 91 in mine.

I like your color scheme. They work well together. I also admire your wing tips. Covering those was a real challenge and I'm still not satisfied with mine. I don't have an engine it it yet because I don't have one that seems appropriate for it. I have been looking for a Saito .82 but can't afford a new one at this time. That .91 in yours ought to make it a rocket. It's not a very heavy aircraft.

I built one several years ago. Mine met its demise in a mid-air. I liked it. It hovered well, but was not as 3D capable as a modern design. The ply engine mount was no good, it would not hold up to my Saito 72. The elevator counter-balance would break off in tall grass. Otherwise it is excellent.

Jolly Popper, where did you get your kit? I thought the company was out of business. I might build another.
