Hello guys me again i would like to know what you guys think is the best 3d trainer plane i have got good with my .60 extra 300 and would like to start hovering etc. i know i haveposted alot of threads but i do not want to make a bad decision. i prefer not to spend over $200 dollars on a plane so try to keep suggestions under that price limit. profiles or anykind plane would be possible so give me your honest opinions... thanks

the laser 3d is kinda cheap (in belgium thought) and flies kinda good, according to everybody it needs a 50 type engine to hover....

if you are good with your extra then a capiche would be a good next model, its not a funfly- just like the extra, but a pattern/3d.
just what you want

the .46 size u-can-do is a good choice. That is what i use to practice to hover with, it sells for $160 ( I think) and will do fine with a O.S..70 four stroke or a YS .63 fourstroke. I would reccomend the ys, but it is a little more expensive. At my field in FL, everyon ehas one because they saw how well that mine flew, but they dont have the right equipment to make it really perform(good engines, servos, and control rods and linkages) Anyone can fly it, some one at my field is actually using it as a trainer!
You can buy it on eday, and have it flight ready the next, i got mine monday, and it was flying on tuesday! Just make sure that you balance it at a little less than 6 in. on the LE!!!

Build a SPA3D. They are great flyers and can take alot of abuse if you make a mistake hovering low. Fast and easy to build and cheap helps with the fear of crashing. check out the plans at www.spad.org
