I would like to find out more about 3D, and most of all kits, engines, special things to consider, things like that. I like the AW 29% and 33% Edge, although I think that the 29 would be the best to start with. Anybody have any info?
Robert.

Been there done that... twice.

THe 29% Edge is the closest thing that I have seen for a 3D trainer. Match it with a BME 50 or similar motor and fly it. It is as docile or as wild as you want. Do the 3D mods to the tail.

Great plane!!!!! No bad habits.

Maybe even a BME 44? I know we have had this discussion before. I decided to go with my existing 44 to start and then go form there.
All the new AW 29% kits have the airfoiled / 3D tails now. No need to change anything if you have a new kit.
