looking for a new 3d toy to entertain me for the rest of the flying season and thinking about ordering the matt chapman eagle 580 from tower, and with the combo it comes with a os .46 engine....would a super tiger .45 work just as good as a 46. this wont be my first and only 3d plane, just looking for something else to bring to the field and tinker with

it's not really a 3d airframe IMO . yes 45 46 os super tiger will work I highly dout your going to come out of a hover with that ..


if your heart is set on 3d and your heart is set on nitro . like everyone and there mother is going come say . you'll do better with a profile or a U can do or something


try the tuff yak from value hobby its like 114 bucks and not bad OS 55 AX


if you consider electrics there are many 3d electric planes in this size that simply rock !! look at 3DHS extreme flight PAC


If i was you I'd buy 3DHS bigger Volex or I'd buy the 57" SHP

thanks for the reply zachary, i have a modeltech profile sukhoi with a .40 on it that is pretty impressive for nitro and a 40 size engine, and a cheap foamy that i practice with before i try anything on the more expensive goods, im just looking for something on a cheaper scale but not a profile to keep me busy till i can order my gasser from aeroworks this winter

Go with a tower hobbies Razor. You won't be disappointed. It flies very well with a .46.
