RE: Small 3d Capable plane for a 120 four stroke
I've got the AW Yak and the Edge. The Yak is better mannered than the Edge - particularly with high throws, my Edge gets unpredictable. I've got a Saito 125 on the Yak which brings the wing loading a little high, but there's plenty to pull out of a prop hang.

RE: Small 3d Capable plane for a 120 four stroke
I have and love the Reactor bipe. It has 1100+ sq on the wing, so it flies very light. A YS120 would be awesome on this plane. A couple of caveats: it has some roll and pitch coupling, nothing I couldn't mix out fairly easily. Like any of the other full fuse "fatties", the GP bipe is not forgiving of dorking the ground. I fly mine on 6S electric, and a LVC (smaller battery than normal ) caused me to drop from about 8' in a hover. Broken wing and gear/wing saddle. Fixed the fuse, but a new wing was needed. The Sabre 56 I mentioned before likely would have had very little damage. The profiles aren't as sexy as the Reactor, but they are definitely tougher! Search the Reactor bipe thread on this same forum; there's a video somewhere of a guy with a Saito 1.25 on it and it's awesome!

I have this plane javascript:mox(); the aero works 300 and i love it. I have a dle-20 in it and it flys the closest to any large 3d plane that i have flown or anyone at my field has flown. I think it would fly very similar with the 1.20. Its built just like a big plane has carbon tubs and pull-pull and the biggest advantage is its not a bi-plane.

Valley R/C Yak 54 semi-proflie. I have a Saito 150 on mine and it is a lot of fun. I call it a semi-profile because although "flat", the fuse is built up, open on the inside and about an 1 1/2" thick. Excellent 3Der.

I've flown that plane^^with a DLE20 on it. Was a little heavy with that setup, but flew nice. A 1.20 4 stroke might be nice in it too, though I think I would go with the Sabre 56 over it.

You nailed it! I'm finding out wing loading is key around here...
The VV Yak 54 is 899sq in of wing; the Sabre is 996 squares on about the same size plane, so it helps

If you're just talking 3D and screwing around than the H3D is still a good buy.
