Stick, most of those under 200$ .46'ers fly like crap. They will fly basic aerobatics but 3D will suck and take more work than a true 3D airplane. Go with a Extreme flight or 3D Hobby Shop aircraft.

lots of options, but go with one of the big three: Extreme Flight, 3DHS, or Precision Aerobatics. If you want budget, there's some options from Hyperion. I would personally stay away from the Horizon and Tower Hobbies stuff if you want serious 3D in the 60" size.

EF has a line up of 60" 3D electric airframes encompassing extras, edges, and MXS's. 3DHS also has a 59" slick, 57" Extra 330, and a 58" Edge coming in December.

alright but here's my point

this guy had his mind already made up , before he made the post and after the fact he said he already bought a airframe pepole are still posting reply's

the guy was stright trolling, pepole on the forum should be able to spot that and stop supporting the troll

that's the problem

I can't be the only one who hates these type pepole they ask you a question and no mater what you say , the anser to the question was only what they already had forumlated and nothing eles is even in the same realm

I haven't yet seen the new Kat fly. But it's nearly two pounds heavier than an equivalent sized airframe from 3dhs or Extreme Flight. A couple ounces here and there probably won't make that much difference. But two additional pounds is a pig. There's absolutely no way it will perform like the 60" class from 3dhs or EF.

Thats what i said before i flew it. But i haft to change what i said a little bit. I ment to say it flew SOME 3d better than the other brands. But the 3DHS, and EF will still destroy it. HH is getting better on their 3D models.

dude what is your problem? so i guess asking a legit question is "trolling" in your mind? then what do you call someone that combs thru threads all day calling people trolls when they ask for opinions???

so what if i already had my eye on this particular plane and wanted some EXPERIENCED opinions? isnt this what the forum is for?

To all others; thanks for your replies and advice, appreciated. At this point I think i'll go with the Extreme because it appears the 3DH Slicks are not avail based on their website.
