Hi tec 225 is what I prefer to use for throttle for my gasers. Nitros, I usually use a standard servo like the Futaba 3004 or a JR sport servo. Depends on the size of the plane. I like to use the 225 when I'm trying to trim a little weight.

I use a Hitec 225MG on my 50cc Reactor as well. Used several different micro servos on .40 size nitro planes: Turnigy HXT900 9g or similar, or an 82MG or 85MG Hitec also...save an ounce of weight or more on a small plane.

Thanks for your input. I give the 225's a shot. What I was looking for is a fast servo for rapid throttle response in 3D. I see some guys, the second the throotle is pushed, It is instant power. It is remarkable how fast the engine resopnds. That is what I was asking about. I think I know how to look up the speed of a servo, but wanted to know what you guys like. So far the 225's are the ticket. Thanks

You get to a point where yanking the throttle arm around with a sub .18 or .15 second servo is pointless.
