The Tail weight makes the plane fly better also makes the plane more sensitive to the pitch axis resulting in better Aerobatic performance you may like it you may not. A nose heavy airplane can be very sluggish to pitch changes just the opposit of a tial heavy plane. To find the CG I like I start with the most rearward suggested piont then go from there some like to start with the most forward piont. then go out fly the plane inverted into the wind at @ 1/3 to 1/2 throttle hands off and see the plane dives, Flies straight and level or climbs. that is after you trim the plane for level hands off upright flight. then when invertedif it dives the plane is nose heavy if it flies straight and level you arte right on for an aerobatic plane and if it climbs youare tail heavy and you will find the plane is very senstive to elevator inputs Every body has there own preferences on this subject some like to be slightly nose heavy some like to be slightly tail heavy . Just go out and play with the CG and find what you like. I hope this will Help Let the Fun Bdgin that is what it is all about!!!! JM Call Sign Wildman
