This is an excellent plane for 3D. The os72 will be more than adequate for power. Keep the plane light (use an adequate amount of glue and quit). Build it straight and set it up properly and you will have a blast!

I have the GP .40 size Cap and it is a great 3D airplane just keep it "LIGHT". I'm running a OS .50 Sx and it is more than enough power with 5 mini 225 hitec servo's and a AAA 6V battery pack. Awesome bird, I would highly recommend it. Ricky

With about harriers and all the high alpha stuff?

I had the .40 size Kyosho Cap and couldn't get ANY 3D out of it except a little hover...

I just finnished one of these. Built it per plans except for 2 servos in the wing. The rudder servo is in the tail with a saito 91 in the nose and bat. just under the wing bolts to acheive a ball. at 3 7/8" from LE.
On my human scale it shows 5lbs. on my fish scale it shows 5.5lbs. Needless to say it has more than enough power. HEHEHEHE. Dont think there will be a prob. with pulling out of a hover. Flies Great!!!!!!!
Just had to let you all know.
Have a good day.

I also got one with a saito .91
AWSOME combo flat spins, elevators, hovering
It is a good 3d machine and it beat the kyosho
cap in all ways.
