Default general ? Cap 232

Cap 232
I've flown my new Cap 5 times with no problems. The aircraft has a 74 in. wing and 66 in. body. We built it light and strong, we got it down to 13lbs. We put a O.S. 1.60 in it thats turning a 18-6.
Needless to say i've got more then engouh power.
But i've found that the aircraft hates to land in a cross winds. . I had alittle trouble getting it down the first time."cross wind" . But it ended up in a smooth landing. Anyways i've notice that the cap likes to start tiping on a wing. "The right side" This happends on landing's. So is this a early sign of a tip stall or could it be the wieght of the engine. Snice its in there sideways. I've been flying r/c aircraft for 2 and a half years and have a 7 aircraft that fly great. They are all .40 to .61s. They all have wash-out. The Cap is my first plane to fly without wash-out.
Im 16 and im a member of AMA 682464 and IMAA 28442. If you can help me with this thanks.

Its an inherant difference in the Cap (and other scale models of similar planes) The design is intended to be able to snap-roll and do other stall maneuvers crisply. This decision by the designer gives the plane an increased tndancy to tip-stall at low speed durring an approach.

Keep the speed up a bit on the approach. When the wheels touch, feed in DOWN elevator to lift the tail, and the whole wing acts as an air brake. (very effective while the plane's rolling fast... then the tail suddenly drops.) This is a trick used by R/C Pylon racers to be able to safely land thier high speed aircraft.
