Default 4d help! vpp

Hi, I am new to the forum and have been flying for years with electric 3d aircraft, this website among others has enspired me to get back into the hobby after a 4 year break.

I just bought the ikarus pps 4d kit and have attached it to my ikarus pitts.

I have watched countless videos on pitch curves and setups, im completely confused

whats stopping me having the reverse pitch on a switch which either has the pitchforward or reverseand i manualy control the throttle i need rather than trying to figure out these annoying pitch setups?

im not a heli pilot despite the60 percent of my flying spent in torque rolls, I have the reflex xtr sim and theres a 4d plane on there where the reverse pitch is selected using a switch, this setup seems more normal to me than these pitch curves

can anyone put me straight?
does completely reversing the pitch manually at high speeds break the setup or something so a lesser pitch is requierd using these setups?

im sure my radio can cater for this its a futaba FF8 (35 mhtz) but i cant figure out why i need it and where to start

some video of the plane with on board cam before the system was fitted

thanks for reading

cheers.
