Default Moki & Midwest SS help.

First off I need to know what size prop I should use for a moki 1.8, I was thinking APC 18 x 8. Any other suggestions. Anyone fly a super stinker with this combo? Thanks.

Default prop?

Is zinger better than an APC? Are there better props out there.

Default I only tried the Zinger.

I think the Menz are the best, but it requires a special adapter due to the short shaft and the Menz's think hub. The Zinger does give great performance and torque rolls occur quickly with high rotational speed. It also has a thinner hub and works with a normal spinner adapter.

I have never used the APC in this application. In the USA, you save lots by going with the Zinger over the Menz.

I know several Mejlick users that switched to Menz because of the efficiency.

Default Moki 1.8 Prop

I have used a Moki 1.8 on 3 planes. The best prop by far for me is APC 18x10. Pulls like a tractor!! Dave

Default Prop

I have been running a 19-8 or 18-10 Bolly for years on this motor. It pulls very stong with either combo. I like the 19-8 as it has a little more down line breaking and slows down a little better. I am also thinking with the more drag of the SS that the 19-8 would be the correct choice.
