is it really that good? u can do

I had a 46 sized one and it flat sucked. My friend had a 60 size one (ys110) and it rocked. Difference was setup. Would knife edge easily down the flite line. And yes, it flew like the one on Realflight.
The only answer I can give is that he is a pretty salty pilot, a pattern guy. And he knows how to set up a plane. He is a "mixing King" and I can only guess he kept on until he got it right.
This plane is fine, if it were not then there would not be a 141 page thread on it: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_22..._1/key_/tm.htm
I did not look (nor do I intend to) but I bet there may be some videos in it.
This plane is old school. There is no way it should compete with one designed today (and it should not), at least not out of the box. But its not a fair comparison either. The UCD was developed during the time when designers expect you to use your computer radio to mix out all the bad habits.
Find someone who knows what their doing and you may be surprised.
