Default Plane and Engine Question

I have a Saito 80 and am looking hard at the Ace Cloud Dancer 60 ARF. Will the 80 fly the 70" 6.5 lb Cloud Dancer through the sportsman pattern? I don't compete but like the pattern type of flying.

Are there any other pattern type planes that have a 60" wing or above that the 80 will fly?

Thanks
DEG

Default Engine / plane combination

The .80 will be fine on the Cloud Dancer. It is a light plane with a fairly tapered wing. The area isn't that different from some that have a shorter wing.

The .80ci engine will fly the plane well.

Default Plane and Engine Question

Thanks for the feedback.

I was thinking the 80 would be fine but while researching the Cloud Dancer I ran across engine recomendations of .91 to 1.20 four strokes. This got me a little worried and thought I would check with the experts.
