Default How much thrust over weight?

Wondering how many grams over total plane weight I need to work well? its gunna be a 3d foamy yak 54 max 300g with everything locked N loaded

For great 3D I would want 2:1 ration. So if the plane is 300g you should have 600g of thrust. You can get by with less of course buy I am talking ideal.

I second Dave. 2:1 really helps to get you out of sticky situations. I need to be able to quickly climb out of maneuvers when I get in trouble because I like to practice a little lower to the ground.
