Default Sideways mounted engine on U-Can-Do

I'm thinking of getting a U-Can-Do 60. I have a Saito 100 on the shelf looking for a new home after the recent unfortunate demise of my Hog Bipe.

I would like to mount the engine sideways, not inverted. I have had experience with inverted 4-stokes and don't want to do it - it is just asking for trouble.

Does anyone have experience with a sideways mounted engine on a U-Can-Do 60? Did it fit? How about the height of the fuel tank versus carb?

Thanks

Hi, I mounted mine sideways with the muffler pointing up and off to the side. Worked out great.

Thanks. Any problems with the cowl?
