Default H9 80" cap

hi

I'm looking at the h9 cap 80" at chiefs for $299. I have a BME 50cc for power. I don't like the one piece wing but love the looks. my question is I'm looking for a good 3d plane and I'm also looking at the GiantScalePlanes.com Katana - 80" or the DP edge 80" for $440 how do they compare? are they any better for $100+ more with the 50cc in it I'm also building a funtana 40 from h9 so a pair of Katana would be cool

thanks Guy

I'd sure like to know the same thing!! I just ordered one to replace my DP extra which fell victim to a mid-air. I've read on the forums that it's a good 3D and IMAC plane, but probably doesn't TR as easily as an edge.

But is sure looks good, and the price is right!

It's great for 3D especially if you can keep it under 15 lbs. Tracks well for precision also I have a MOKI 2.10 in mine and it weighs about 13.5 lbs. How much does the BME 50
weigh?

The H9 Cap is a great 3D plane. Probably the easiest plane to harrier I've ever flown. Just hold some up, steer with the rudder and watch. Its real stable in a TR and does very nice waterfalls. Be sure to have plenty of throw in the elevator. Its easy to do a wall into a hover. it stops right now, without gaining any altitude. I think the BMe would be perfect, if not a bit over powered.

My buddy has the cap with a BME 50 and let me tell you its out of this world on all types of 3D. Onw of our members got a 33% cap ARF and he says it flys the same as his and when the both of them are in the air at the same time you just got to watch to see whos going to out do the other

The Moki 2.10 will pull just fine; pretty much unlimited.

CG seems to be great at 6.5" for most...

Ordered mine from Chief the other night with Moki 2.1 as the combo. Will be running Hitec 5625 on ailerons, 5645s on rudder and elevator. 425BB for Servo. Dual battery packs, SR 2000 mAh and SR 1000 on separate charge switches. Ordered some hardware and misc nits and bits from Tower last night, spinner from Tru-Turn with appropriate adapter. Dana has just gone through these like wildfire, and they have become a hot seller within the last couple of weeks. He doesn't have too many left and told me was pulling it from his ads as he will be out of them soon. Can't wait to get it. I also ordered the 1/3 Scale H9 CAP last week, but decided to put that aside and work up to it flying this one. Good luck and have fun!
