Hi everyone,
I fly a GP CAP232 (40 size) with 12.25X3.75 prop. It requires full throttle for hovering
which gives me no room for mistakes. The engine is an O.S 61FX. What type of prop
should I use for hovering and better vertical performance?

i would try a 12x4 - on the 61 you have more torque so it will pull a bigger prop - the 12.25x3.75 is more for the 46 we run a cap 232 with a sc 61 and 12x5.5 is the best for our set up.

If you want to stick with a low pitch prop, go for the APC 13x4w. The engine will have no problems with that prop. Otherwise use the 13x6.
Mine is virtually ready for its maiden, I put a Saito 91 in mine. I'll be running a 15x6.
