should be an extremely easy swap over, i spose the cowl would just be cut more, no need for a new one.
get the 39 on a mini pipe and mini gear ( strong enough of course ) and you should be about the same power to weight as most of us.
thats what i thinks anyway

regretfully we did not get much testing done with the Irv 39 powere Capiche you see mentionned. IN France radio failure saw the demise of that particular model and we have not done another since with this power set up, although one of the guys here does still fly one very effectively with a West 36... I flew the Irv 39 one and it seemed to go very very well... we used an 11x4 APC on it, WITH the throttle pipe.... which does make quite a difference to the standard muffler.
Change over should not be an issue, and if ever you need replacement parts for the C50 you can happily order from IH... they dont get funny about sending out replacement parts. Some manufacturers are paranoid about people copying the model... not here.
I believe IH have the Throttle pipes in stock.. including for the Irv 39. They do motors and stuff too.
