Default TopCap engine 46 or 52

hi!
im new here and i have some questions about my nearly finished topcap.
i have a two engines :an "OS 46 LA" and an "OS FS52"

1. is any of these engines a good match with my topcap? will any of them be strong enough to get the topcap to hower properly? and which of them would be the best match?

2. if none of the engines i already have are good enough will a "OS 50SX" do the trick? is the "50SX" like lightyears better? [&:]

cheers

is this the ARF or kit.

I think if its a kit, and your weight will be close to 4.5lbs your 46LA and a moosecan should fly it pretty good. Your 52 won't have enough power.

But if this plane is the ARf or comes in at 5lbs. Your going to need a bigger engine.

I love my top cap, i have a Thundertiger 46. with a APC 11.5 X 4 prop. and a Max Header Pipe instead of the stock muffler. It flys great and has plenty of power with this combo.

Try the new magmum XLS .52
they run great, put out all the power you need and they are only $100

thanks for all the answers!
i think ill go for OS50SX.
but if i were to choose betwen my 52FS and my 46LA which would be the most powerful one for my topcap?

its two years since i last flew rc planes and i want to get it up and running before i spend money on a new engine

I have a phoenix models Fun Star 3-d. It weighs almost 5 lbs. on an old cheapo fish scal (dont know exactly how accurate it is). I have the O.S. 52 four stroke on it and it hovers great. I think that if you keep the plane around 5 lbs you would be fine. I would try it, and if you dont like it then get the 50SX.
