Fun Fly airplanes generally are those with larger control surfaces. Most of the original ones have profile (flat) fuselages with the servos and other electronics in the wing. Many of these planes are used today to fly 3D (post stall) aerobatics. There are fun fly contests with different manuvers that are timed. Dixie Death is a take off, three rolls, three loops, a three turn spin and landing. It is amazing to see this done in just a few seconds.
