Default Which is the best 3D airplane

I want to buy a 3d airplane and i was wondering which is the best for a good price lets say about $150-$250.
I was thinking about buying the U-Can-Do 3D but i want to see other options.
Thank you.

Hype 3D.

Do a search in the 3D forum about the Hype.

Put the UCD, Funtana and Flip to shame.

I have a U CAN DO 3D with a OS 91 two stroke. It has been a very good plane. Really smooth, stable at very slow speeds and smooth easy flying on low rate settings. It tracks pretty good. However it does not roll on a straight axis very well. But I've learned to hover with it, it is my favorite plane, and I recomend it. It is the only 3D plane I've flown, so it makes it hard to compare. But I've seen other 3D planes fly along side me, and it seems mine is the smoothest and most stable at very slow speeds and flooting around. I won a contest to stay in the air the longest without the engine running. The engine will take the plane straight up and out of trouble with ease. If you get this plane, thsi engine does it well. The only other thing I see, is it is larger than than the 40 size competitors which is a big advantage with 3D flying.
Best wishes with your decision.

YNOT, I have a UCD.60 and am considering the "Hype 3D" I havn't flown or even seen the Funtana or Flip in the air. Can I ask you the extent of your experience on the above mentioned planes. What I mean is, do you own or have flown them. I value your input on this. As far as the "Hype" is concerned, did you go with the "Weston Eurotech .50? If not what are you running? How has the plane held up so far? One of the biggest factors for my interest in the "Hype" is the fact that its just 4.4 lbs. If it holds up and flies like you say then I'm sold. Thanks for you time, Joe
