Pardon my asking but whats the full form of 3D and what exactly are 3D aerobatics and how do they differ from regular or sport aerobatics. Whats are the differences between a 3D plane a sport plane an aerobatic plane and a pattern plane .Also are they any special requirements for a plane like a CAP232 to be 3D. Pls educate me. Fnp 3d flying is flying on the stalling point and taking things to the limit this question has been asked many times...
if you go to www.3drc.info go to video libary there are a couple of videos on there of 3d flying check the videos out...

It was explained to me that 3D is the type of flying that full scale planes cannot do in their routine.

The Sukhois can do 3D very well. Will Curtis' one do harriers, elevators, walls, torque rolling, and rolling loops!

That is not entirely true... Kirby Chambliss would tell you otherwise about full scale planes not being able to do any 3D. Anybody who has seen him at AirVenture in Oshkosh or another airshow would also say otherwise

Brains - Thanks Yes, I saw yours... great stuff 'Like the rolling harrier you do with that little plane, there is a small section of a climbing one on the end of my vid... yours is sweet! Its harder to do with these little planes, my Funtana, if you let it get slow enough doing one, just all the sudden stops and drops [:-] LOL Is the YS a two stroke I'm assuming? I'm sure it will have PLENTY of power on there if it is, just keep in mind the weight I guess. I dont know what that weighs with a pipe and all, my plane is 5lbs 8oz and flys great at that. I will have to get some better video footage to Nathan than that one, just messin around in there. But, seeing winter seems fully set in over here in WI flying days are few and far between LOL!! Let us know how your setup works when you fly it!

Hi Brian i will let you know how my funtana gets on it wont be down as yet as im doing a kantana at the moment and then il move onto funtana...
my video of my 3styla aint brilliant but il get some better later i was just messing round like yourself lol...
