Hype 3D
#2
The only place I know of is here: http://www.modellbau-usa.com/products.shtml
I was considering one of these but now I think I'm going for a Yellow Aircraft Giles 60 size - but that's getting away from 3D. From everything I've read, the Hype 3D is one of the best 3D planes.

Hey Mike
Thats where I got mine from and had no problems( shipping damage) at all. I thougt the thirty dollars for shipping was a little steep since I am only three states away from them. I ordered the plane and engine/pipe and been having a blast with it! Much better plane then the Flip!!
Get one for you will like it.

Hi,
Tony: have you had any problems with your west 50? Today with my west the crank pin broke of the crankshaft. A bit annoyin as i was trying a new prop (APC 13x4 insted of the APC 13x4w) and i didnt even get a flight
Hopefully the new crank will come under the warrenty so i wont have delve into my YS fund[&:]

Nope not a hick-up motor is sweeter now than ever before.
What I have learned on the West, is to leave it a little bit richer than other motors. In the air, that pipe kicks in and if too lean, you loose power. On the ground, the pinch test and holding nose up, you will hear it lean out, then open it 2 more clicks, so in the air, when the pipe kicks, you have all the power.
OS 8 Plug and 15% fuel. On the ground spining a APC 13-4W at 12,200 ish.
