The Funtana is a very nice looking plane for sure, but honestly I think there are a lot better 3D planes out there for the money. I'm certainly no expert and don't own one, but there's a couple of Funtana's at our field and to tell you the truth, my Global Freestyle and the Magic Extra 300L's will fly circles around them, especially the Magics.

Hate to get off the subject here but I have a question for the H9 people too.
WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GET MORE SUKHOI CANOPYS IN?????????
Mine was broke when I opened the box and I refuse to fly the plane without the canopy.

It really make's more difference who is flying what . Yes the magic extra is a good flying plane. when built and modified right . but the funtana will outright outfly the magic . my aerobat dos some 3d better than a magic. the magic extra is a 3 d trainer like the u can't do 3d's . the funana is for toc wantabe's like me.
AND YES I HAVE AND FLY ALL PLANES I TALKED ABOUT

I'm gonna have to write another thread, this is a question for H9 employees, not a discussion post on the best 3D plane. I appreciate it.

I just hate to see people getting stuck on a plane you can't get. There are other possibilities. I wanted the Funtana too but I heard about the delays and moved on (actually I had it in my basement but when I opened the box the wing was damaged so back it went to the LHS. They said there would be a delay getting a new one so I said forget it). When this media hype and buying frenzy is over there will be plenty of Funtanas to go around. This always happens with newer planes (and especially good new planes).

That's a point lads...
I fly the 2m Funtana S from Exclusiv Modellbau, and I also fly the global freestyle. a 1.40 size global freestyle would be absolutely awesome!
The freestyle is 'fully' 3d capable and a damn awesome plane to fly.
there are pics of the Funtana and Freestyle on my website, www.3drc.info .
