Decision on Serious 3D

I have decided to work on developing real 3D abilities. In line with that I have been looking at building a new 3D/IMAC plane. I have flight experience with all sizes of planes up to 85".
Here is my problem. I was going to build the new Wild Hare 28% Edge. I have one on order for January. I would have to take the DA50 out of my Mustang to go in the Edge. I don't want to buy another engine right now. Well low and behold I see that Goldberg is coming out with a beautiful 1.20 ARF Sukoi 26. I happen to have a brand new YS1.20SF engine sitting on the shelf. So what to do.
Question: From a flight standpoint, for those of you seriously into 3D, is there a significant difference between a 72" SU26 and the 84" Edge. Working on IMAC type flying would also be part of the equation.

I really doubt the IMAC legality of the DV, sure it has Ultimate wings but the fuse is so far off that I don't think it would be accepted at IMAC events. There will be a big difference between the 72" and 84" planes, so stick with the Edge to develop your 3D skills.

The bigger planes just seem to give you more control reaction time. They dont seem to build such high speed so quickly, especially when you get the nose pointed down after a dumb thumb, like i have done too many times. You will be alot more comfortable after a few gallons with the edge, been there and done that. Its been my experience that smaller planes dont present as well as larger ones. I do feel the WH Edge will be a great flying airplane, as i have the WH Extra and very satisfied.
