My brother got a Lanier Laser in a large bundle of stuff he bought from a guy getting out of the hobby. He gave me the Laser because he had no interest in it...he just wanted the OS 90 4stroke it had.
As I'm looking it over it looks to be in good shape and appears to be an early ARF from Lanier...looks like this one:

The control surfaces seem small to me, and don't seem to give enough throw, but from the time period of this plane I'd say that was how it was made. I'm tempted to enlarge the surfaces and increase the throws, but I thought I'd check to see if anybody has experience of any sort with this plane before I change anything.
I have an extra MDS 68, so that's what it going on this bird. I've also got some 13x4 Zinger's laying around so I though I'd start with those too.
Also, it has a single aileron servo. I'm thinking of changing that to a servo per aileron.

The 96" flies good and I will go as far as to say that it flys great if you lighten it. I havent heard much about the little Laser, but its a proven design so it should do well.
