Default AeroWorks 29% Edge

I was hoping some one could help me with my problem. I have a 29% Edge 540 that was once flown with a BME 50 i was wondering if the Desert Aircraft 50 is a better engine and if the mounting on the two engines are similiar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why is it that you need a DA...is the BME no longer on the plane? DA is a great engine, but will add a bit of weight on the nose as compared to the BME. Between the 2 engines I like DA, but if the plane is light and balanced for the BME I see nothing wrong with that engine.

I had the aeroworks with a bme 50, one sweet combo. IMO the bme is as powerfull as the DA, either choice however will work fine. If you use a DA you might have to cut a hole in the firewall for the rear carb, and change the mounting holes. I would go with the bme, a great engine, and will bolt right on. I used moki 22x10 and menz 22x10s with great results on mine.
